Hey Ruff, you were really rough there.
For a second I was going to attack you for writing this stuff, but after finishing reading everything, I thought it was quite funny.

I quite like you avatar dude.

Carringdon,

Once again congratulations.

Too bad I am leaving the country. We could link up if I wasn't.

I've got two days left. Gosh, I am going to miss London. (not the bad weather of course! :D)

All the best

Fidel.

cheers

cheers

Yo Ruff - stay off the coffee bro  ;)

cheers for your comments dude - I guess I was keeping the tea making a bit too real by using what we had - as you do - when your feeling partched :-[  you tend to just use what ever sugar you have in the larder right.

Torture & torment can be pretty knackering at times & a trip to the shop is just a little too tiresome for the sake of white sugar buddy  :)

Hey Fidel - yeah thats a shame - maybe when your back in London Town - send us an email man - its like family round here.

Cheers :)

If anyone is intrested,

amount of tea+water temp+steep time=good tea

I order fresh tea online. ;)

Re: " Tea " short film - blown up - 35mm

if it don't have bubbles it just ain't worth drinking  ;)
Fact : you should only ever boil the water once for full flavor otherwise - re- boiling gives the teabag less oxygen thus - less flavor & no bubbles .
True - look it up.

cheers :)

Very nice beginning, ie great editing sequences and MX, then IMO you sold out with the ending.

Ha ! I'm glad you read to the end before letting rip John !Perhaps I should shoot a " Tea School for NTSC DVX users " DVD . ( catchy title don't ya think ? )
Carrington ! I can't believe I'm having to tell you again! - quote " re-boiling gives the teabag less oxygen " - NO, NO , NO , NO !!! - teabags don't need oxygen ; they're DEAD.
(keep up the good work !)

Hey Ruff & all the rest of you non believers outhere!

check this link http://www.teacouncil.co.uk/newtc/cate/brew.htm

Cut from the british tea council's site : instructions on tea making
Note the oxygen info 8)

I thank you ;)

How to make the perfect brew

Use a good quality loose leaf or bagged tea

This must be stored in an air-tight container at room temperature

Always use freshly drawn boiling water

In order to draw the best flavour out of the tea the water must contain oxygen, this is reduced if the water is boiled more than once.

Measure the tea carefully

Use 1 tea bag or 1 rounded teaspoon of loose tea for each cup to be served

Allow the tea to brew for the recommended time before pouring

Loved the fast shutter speed during the first 1 1/2 mins - great short. Very dark.... :)

Carrington ! - I'd argue my point , but I've seen how you treat those who push you too far, and I don't want to be the next "up for a slap" with your shovel !

Did you ever see that wartime tea film ? - you know , the one instructing the great British people on how not to waste tea ? - you remember; it stars those real nice 1940's 'BBC/Women's Institute' ladies with that wonderful middle class 'jolly good' accent. - yes ? - well they give a good slap with a shovel and will be round to sort you out if there's any more trouble.

Re: " Tea " short film - blown up - 35mm

Wow...believe it or not, I'm working on a script where tea is a gimmick, like a catalyst...My main character is sort of obsessed with tea, and can't seem to make a decent cup. I use teabags for transitions...it's also a significant metaphor.

Your stuff looks great, I'd love to take some cues from your style when it's finally time to shoot my script! Seriously. I'd give u screen credit and everything. This feel totally fits the bill. Kudos. TEA, of all things!
