I think we'd best be careful, because this is a great example of these two cameras working together and worth analyzing from a technical and filmaking standpoint on these forums, but the political aspect could get nasty quickly.

I'm not a fan of calling people you disagree with ignorant right off the bat for instance, (and yes, both sides do it). Slipping in your views and then quickly saying you know we shouldn't talk politics doesn't exactly work either.

A friendly question.Would that be your stand if someone posted a video with the 5D promoting the beliefs of the KKK or the American Nazi party ? Im just curious where you stand on the topic
of posting politically charged presentations?

A friendly answer:

Firstly, t's not my position, it's the forum's.

Secondly, as for posting politically charged presentations - We try to be tolerant and allow it as valid artistic content around which the craft can be discussed.
For example, we don't allow anyone to post a jpeg of naked breasts, but you can have them in your film. You can discuss lighting them in your film / the best way to show nudity / the way to use it to tell a story. But you can't discuss how much you like breasts in general.

If someone found and posted a vintage Nazi propaganda film there would be a lot to discuss about the craft and history of filmmaking beyond whether genocide is a good idea or not.

Birth of a Nation, a KKK film is shown in film schools all over the world for that very reason, where much is discussed about the film's technical breakthroughs and history, without the need to discuss whether racism is a valid viewpoint or not.

We try to be as tolerant as we can until our hand is forced to be otherwise.
 
Dude EX1 & 5D cut together nicely, I guessed they would. Excellent composition and camera work. This makes me want Scarlet so bad.
 
That was a great video.

Can you tell when it is the EX1 and when it is the 5D and how the audio was recorded.
