TC display in viewfinder

I've rented the DVX-100 several times this year and unfortunately I usually don't get a manual with it.

I like to have the time code display in the viewfinder as I'm shooting. I'm used to shooting with full sized cameras and it's usually pretty easy to set that option in the menus - but I have been through the DVX menu numerous times and can't find a setting for that. Surely that is an option...?

I did search and didn't find the answer, although it probably is here somewhere. Sorry for the most basic question...

Thanks!

Thanks, I set it to ALL and but it still does not show. Tape remaining shows, but I want the present time code.

The timecode display is not controlled by the menu system. Instead there's a button inside the LCD panel, I believe it's the lower left button, called "counter" (don't have my camera here, can't look it up). The options include no display, or timecode, or counter, or framerate, so just push it repeatedly until you get the display you want.

Thank you very much Barry. I've returned the rental cam now but I'll have it again in a few weeks so I'll try to remember that ! Thanks again.

I hope you didn't forget to bring your wooobbbie....

I was out of town for a week, and loaned it to a producer friend while I was gone. As of the time I wrote that, I hadn't gone to pick it up yet (it's back now...)
