I'm uploading a video shortly to show exactly, but basically, it seems like each from has a drastic change in brightness when played, almost a strobe effect. I recorded at 2 frames a second for about 20 minutes, and the whole video is as such. I imported frames into premiere as a still sequence.... any ideas why this is happening?

ALso i just checked actual stills and they seem to have recorded like that. Any idea why? HEre are examples of the stills P1010101.jpgP1010102.jpgP1010103.jpg

What were your settings?
You must be in manual mode.
You should also have your aperture wide open.
Or you could use Nikkor manual lenses that won't
open and close between exposures.

That might be the problem as I was not wide open, i was stopped down to 16 since I'm using the Voigtlander and it was pretty bright outside. So not being wide open can cause that? And are you saying I should be in manual mode, if so I was for sure. I think I had a high shutter number, should this be lower?

Actually you should try to use slower shutter speeds as well....
Higher shutter speeds can also cause inconsistent exposures.
ND filters are your friend. Use good quality ones.
The cheaper ones - especially the really dark ones can cause
the image to get soft....

Take a look at this software - it can clean up slight flickers in time-lapse.

The Voigtlander would probably be brilliant to use for night time-lapse.

thanks for the help, I'll test it out again with lower shutter speeds when i get a chance tomorrow. Thanks!
