target/destination file messege in Compressor?

I am trying to send my edited video and audio out to compressor to convert for DVD pro. I have done this before several times but now compressor is not cooperating. the project setting is SD 720, nothing fancy.
When I send to Compressor it says that the file must have a destination or target?? I have no idea what this means.
I also tried to make a complete .mov first and then drop that new file into compressor and it say it is a unsupported file??

Any ideas? I spent hours trying to figure this out last night............. I am sure it is something stupid on my part.

Glad you figured it out, but... for what it's worth, I never send things to Compressor straight from FCP. I always export a Final Cut Pro Movie using current project settings, then quit FCP and launch Compressor or MPEG StreamClip to do any conversion. Compressor runs smoother that way.
