Okay, I'm planning on shooting my next project with the correct Panasonic tape. I'm guilty of using TDK tapes that came with our camera package and a consumer-grade Panasonic tape I had setting around.
But anyway, what I need to know is, where is the best (ie: cheapest) place to get AY-DVM63PQ or MQ tapes? I'm probably going to need about 10 tapes total.
Actually, two more questions: is there any noticable quality difference between the two? How about between 63 and 83 minute tapes?
Also, I read somewhere that Panasonic manufactures Maxell tapes. I'm going to HIGHLY doubt it, but would they be decent substitutes? Just wondering, because the $26 for 10 tapes deal at Sam's Club is really tempting.
