Do both these tapes use the same kind of lube? If so would it be fine to mix them.

i heard these PQ tapes are dry is that true?

I heard Panasonic PQ tapes are dry and MQ and AMQ tapes are wet. Can anyone tell me if this is a fact?
I heard dry tapes wont make the camera heads get as dirty or worn down as quick so ill go for the PQ tapes if those are dry.

I did search, I found other threads with this same reponse you gave me(search).

I want to know if these tapes are dry or wet, and if there dry are they safe to mix with PQ tapes? Anyone know?

The PQ's are good tapes and won't hurt your heads. All Pana tapes are dry, but if you have to choose between the PQ and the EJ, you should definately go for the PQ (if you want the best tapes go for the AMQ's or the cheaper SQ's ...they both have the same specs and you'll have nearly no drop outs with them).

Would it be fine to mix all panansonic tapes then? or do they each have diff dry lubes? Would it be fine to use both PQ And EJ tapes with the same dvx? What are SQ's tapes? thanks
