Hey there!
Just finished this up the other day for a competition, and it was my first project using the Odyssey 7Q.
If you happen to like the film, please head over to My RODE Reel and vote for us, so we can make more

Anyhow, shameless plug out of the way, here's some actual relevant tech info:

I hope you guys enjoyed it. It was quite a difficult task to have such a quick turn-around with 4k raw, but having been on these forums talking with others about the 7Q workflow certainly sped everything up.

Anyhow, shameless plug out of the way, here's some actual relevant tech info:
- Shot on FS700 using Convergent Design Odyssey 7Q
- Shot natively to 4k raw using the above
- ProRes 422 HQs were created out of Davinci Resolve at 4k, using the Convergent Design Slog2 LUT
- All editing and grading was done inside FCPX using the proxy feature
- Primary grade was done using LUTility with Alexa to rec709 LUT (i find this to be the best one)
- Additionally grading was done using mLooks and BCC8
- The entire project is 819gb for 5 minutes of movie.
- But the Raw DNGs are elsewhere and total 2.5 TB!!! Keep these huge file sizes in mind!!!
- We shot hot swapping 2x 256gb cards for the 7Q. Absolutely needed a dedicated DIT on set
- Only 2 lenses actually used throughout: Canon EF 16-35 f/2.8 II and Tamron 24-70 f/2.8 VC
- Speedbooster was used to attach the above
- Actually, there is ONE fisheye using sigma 15mm (I actually love how the speed booster renders this lens with the minor crop)
- Sound was recorded on Rode's NTG3, as required for the competition
- No idea what libraries my composer used for score, but he said he had a bunch of new awesome stuff and I'm really happy with what he came up with
- Edelkrone Sliderplus Pro was used for the small spaces to get those dollies
- Digi dolly was used for the longer dollies
- Westside AV battery plate for the 7Q was used to power the unit with Sony batteries
- Edelkrone FocusPlus Pro was used to be able to pull focus with only one operator
- A whole bunch of lights. Some F&V LED, others by NanGuang, a 1k and an 800 to light up for atmosphere. And of course the 2 work lights for mood
