tape

after using sony tape for just an hour or so on my new 100a, will be switching to panasonic dm63mq tape on the advice on mny.

will of course use head cleaner on 100a before i switch.
but i have a sony dsr-11 deck, on wich i've played about 2 hours' worth of tape.

should the dsr-11 handle the panasonic tape without a problem?

As far as I have researched, its said that using the MQ tape is best suggested with the DVX100/A, avoid using the head cleaning tape as far as possible, unless its a HAVE TO USE A HEAD CLEANER situation, but thats my personal suggestion. You should not have any problems using your DSR 11 for playing back panasonic tapes.
