Tamron AF 70-300mm Tele-Macro for Canon T2i - need help

[digifruitella]

what kind of a ring/adapter do I need to buy to use this on a T2i?

[Samuel H]

if it is the canon version: none

for the price ($165), if you don't have anything else on that range, it's a useful lens, but build quality is awful, and it gets soft beyond 180mm or so

I have this lens but for a Nikon, which is why I'm wondering what adapter is good for this? on another note, what other "tele-macro" lenses would you recommend other than the Tamron, for Canon

[treynolds]

yeah, its a fine lens if you cant budget more than about $150 for a lens that long but overall no where near as nice as what i replaced it with (the tamron 18-270)
