Tamron 180mm Macro EF work with Metabones EF to NEX Mark IV adapter?

Has anyone used this combo and if so, is the apeture control stable? I was also looking at the Tamron 150-600mm Di VC USD and questioning compatibility. Having trouble finding people using either combo.
