Earlier this year I picked up a t3i and Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 - I ended up selling the t3i for the 5d mkiii and the lens doesn't work with the 5d. I'm listing it for sale at $375 plus shipping (paid $499 plus shipping). The lens is in new condition, it is only six months old and hasn't really been used much.
