I ordered my first fotodiox adapter about two weeks ago and it seemed to work great. I then ordered another one that regulates the aperture and upon first use the lens was very wobbly.
I was bored so I decided to see if they can be fixed and upon first look the lose one was about 5 thousandths smaller thickness at the thickest part of the lens side.

upon closer scrutiny I found a slit in this area that was bent out a bit to keep the lens tight.
Unfortunately the one that was smaller had the slit closer to the back side and the side that was tweaked out to hold the the lens tight. At first I bent the slit slightly and it helped but I could see this to be a constant problem.
Eventually I decided to shim up that area with part of a plastic sticker to provide a tighter fit and settled on a 25 thousandth thick sticker, after the back was peeled off. The lens is very snug now, this is a zoom lens that was turning a bit in the mount when I zoomed, that was fixed.
i trimmed off the excess material and replaced the three screws holding the adapter piece and all is well now.
