Taking Battery out while it's turning off?

I did something stupid...I wasn't thinking and took it out before it fully shutdown...I've turned it back on and it's ok the scene files are there...but could I have done any damage to mechanisms like the OIS?

You are most likely ok. Removing a battery when the camera is on or shutting down is not the best thing to do, but it happens.

I would say there is a very small chance anything has happened. If I had a dollar for every-time a battery died while I was using my camera...

Thanks Ryan, I look after my camera like a bodyguard when i'm out lol so to do this because I was rushing is annoying.
