"Ta Chwila" [eng: this moment]

Re: "Ta Chwila" [eng: this moment]

Wow, the image, it really looked like film man! Nice compression BTW. Have you use the anamorfic adapter with letterboxed to get 2.35:1? How where your settings? Detail setting is low isn't it? I like it.

When the picture is black at the end with the titles, I see some subtle round light in de middle of de screen, what is that? I also can see very good in the begin of the movie, the parts with the dog, you see some vignetting, its in the whole movie. Have you shoot with spotlight mode on or something?

Re: "Ta Chwila" [eng: this moment]

Thanks.
I don't use anamorphic lens because i don't have it :(

output compostion has 327 height. I shoot normally and later i have some space to recompose image vertically.

Detail setting was normal [0]

i duplicate current layer , add blur on it set this layer on overlay, softlight or multiplay mode.

And add some color correction

Vignetting - i use b&w circullar gradient set on mode multiply.

all done in adobe after effects.

Re: "Ta Chwila" [eng: this moment]

I am curious how it looked without the softlight or multiplay mode effect on it...

Did you make the depth of field norrower after aplying the effect? The borders are out of focus too. How did you do that?

Re: "Ta Chwila" [eng: this moment]

Those are some nice grabs man.
Haven't watched the film yet, but will later on.

All the best

Fidel.

JKL:

i duplicate current layer and add gausian blur to the new layer. Next i set transition to overlay and add circular gradient mask. Later i duplicate new layer once again and set it's transition to normal
structure:

layer3:
transition: normal [or other] | mask : circular - little less contrast | effect: gaussian blur about 20

layer2:
transition: overlay [or other: multiply .. try it ...] | mask : circullar | effect: gaussian blur about 10

layer1:
transition: normal | mask :none

try to use "lens blur" filter in adobe photoshop - the best results. But you have to make DOF mask.

Wow Awesome work man. looks great.

I am planning on shooting a documentary. I was wondering if you could tell me what your audio setup was. The sound is great. What type of mic did you use? Was it camera mounted or on a boom? etc.

Thanks

A
