ug....i just don't get the fascination with the show or JJ Abrams. I don't find either that great.

I'm watching the show, but not loving it. I got bored halfway through season one and find this season just ok so far. Nothing special.

i was sorta warming up to her character this season... last season i couldnt stand her but the character started growing on me.... now if they would just kill off michelle rodriguez i would be happy :)

on a side note i like Abrams' "Alias" and can't wait to see what he does with "M:I3"

ME TOO! It's not that her character is irritating (which it REALLY is,) it's more that she is really irritating.

Alias started off great, just like Lost did. Then it fell off, as Lost is in danger of doing.

Prediction for MI:3... First act will kick ass, second act will suck, third act won't be able to recover from act 2.

2nd act probably won't suck but it'll be worse than the first and the 3rd probably will suck

She can't/couldn't act. She was horrible on Lost and even worse if you can believe it in "The Fog" remake.

As for Rodriguez, one note character and basically a carbon copy of every other character she's played of late....Resident Evil, anyone?

I'm not sold on JJ Abrams. I thought Alias was a laugh riot and took itself way to seriously, and Lost is just okay. The flashbacks get annoying after awhile as the main storytelling device... also, gives you the freedom to go back and change whatever you want or add things in. Annoying.

The main thing I am curious is what it is all going to mean. If I can skip to the last chapter and not have to see everything in between, I would.

she wasnt the best actress in the Fog but still i didnt mind it on "Lost". her character was just starting to get a real interesting back story and then they kill her. you may not like any of her acting but i have to disagree that she cant act at all... thats just my opinion
 
Someone I work with gave me the season 1 DVDs a month ago and in a weekend I watched the whole season... Then I downloaded season 2 from iTunes and have become completely hooked on this show.

I hate to shock this thread back to life, but I think this is one of the best shows on TV... anyone else still hooked or have the constant cliffhangers gotten to be too much.
 
I am an addict but be prepared, because it can and will get frustrating to watch with all the multiple storylines, characters, and plot twists.. And just creating more questions... But you'll never be able to stop watching.

I haven't been into a show like this since The X-files.

And Terry O'Quinn is one of my fav. actors.
 
this season they're going to focus less on mythology and more on action, and characters... we'll find out who the others are, why they're there and such too. and Kate is going to pick someone by episode 3... hopefully Jack... or Sawyer :)

can't wait for the season to start. they're breaking the season up into 2 parts though. first 6 weeks or so then taking a break till February and coming back with nothing but new episodes
