Re: T.V. Show - LOST

when you go into the big reply screen, there is an icon of a picture in frame, you just put your link inbetween the [ IMG ] [ /IMG ] bits of code that appear in your message

Re: T.V. Show - LOST

Thanks for posting the pics, DVXShooter.

Were you shooting EPK stuff for the network or for DVD extras when the series eventually gets to disc?

Re: T.V. Show - LOST

Thanks for the tips guys! I was shooting footage for a piece we were working on and I was told that some of the footage was going to be used for EPK's as well.

Re: T.V. Show - LOST

I saw the episode aired last night with Hurley driving that yellow Hummer! Someone posted pics of the camera mounts they had attached to that hummer a while back on here.

Claire had better have that baby soon! I've been wondering about that, as it seems she has been on the verge of going into labor a few months now! haha!! I missed alittle over half of the last ep, but it was the first half I missed. And I hope Charlie doesnt fall back into old habits with all that junk they found in the plane. OH, and I hope Locke gets to keep his "legs"!

Has anyone else noticed that the guys are starting to look a bit ragged in the facial hair area (except for Hurley, maybe) but that none of the gals have hairy legs or armpits yet??? Ah, yet another island mystery!

I am going to tell myself that some toiletries were found amongst the wreckage. And the guys are looking scruffy because they would rather the ladies have the razors so they dont have to look at said hairy legs and pits. haha!!!!

hey I missed it but when is teh next episode (the two hour seaon finale) suppose to air. Is it next week? I hope not

i haven't read this thread yet, just saw the subject line, so this has probably already been stated. But this show really pisses me off. I constantly feel like I'm being dicked around by the writers. I read over and over again in the press how proud the writers are because even though they have an interesting concept, the "real reason people keep coming back is the characters." i have heard them utter this in review after review and I think it's b.s. spin to cover the fact that, like George Lucas, they have no idea what they've written themselves into. They have no answers. They have no clear idea where the plot is going. They're just going to continue to put up all these red herring "weirdo wacky" things that they'll never explain. I mean did you see that terrible season finale. We're wondering all season what the hell that thing in the ground is, and the big reveal once they open it is... that it goes down and has a ladder???? This is one of the primary reasons I like film over TV. The fact that they're forced to conclude the story.

Not only that, but while the flashbacks used to be cool, and used to reveal something interesting about the characters (their claim of what we're "supposedly" more interested in) -- that episode with Locke was bar none one of the best TV episodes I've ever seen -- now they're just obviously using them as filler time to get through the hour. They think that by making that cool 'whoosh' sound off a character close-up into their past, that we'll just buy anything they give us.

If this show screws around the first few episodes, and continues to be as clueless about its story as we are, I will stop watching it.

That's how I felt watching the season finale last year -- I considered myself done with the program.

I'll watch it tonight, but if it looks like it's going to go another season with explaining NOTHING, then my interest will drop off veeeeerrrrry quickly.

c.g.--

I'm new to this thread, too, but if you ever watched Alias--I'm pretty sure they know where the show is going. It will be a maze of twists and turns where more and more will make sense as the series continues. I agree with you though on the filler time with the flashbacks. The slow-mo shot of everybody getting on the plane in the final episode last season made me laugh out loud. A little too cheesy sentimental for my tastes.

Anyway--hopefully we will know more tonight. Any other Alias fans out there? If this show is anything like Alias--this seemingly "somewhat Sci-Fi" show will be turning "hardcore Sci-Fi" in the next few weeks.

I really like Abram's stuff. I wasn't a Felicity fan, but I never really watched it. We'll forgive him for Armageddon, but Regarding Henry and Forever Young are great films (he was the screenwriter for those). Mission: Impossible 3 to come out soon, and supposedly quite a few new T.V. shows.

I think I may be with you guys on this one. My tv time budget is actually pretty small, so I need to spend it wisely. Lost was just about the only regular show that I watched at all last season.

(I'm presently trying out Prison Break, so if Lost wants to hold onto the title, they got some 'splaining to do)

I just bought the series one DVD and watched like two month's worth of episodes over the weekend--so don't BLOW IT! I went to Hawaii last year to do the Lost premiere on Oahu. I flew my other girlfriend over there with me and I shot some of the plane wreckage footage with my VX2000 (technically, it's on a public beach). Should've shot it in 24P, though, so I could have written it into my zombie short! I'm SURE ABC wouldn't mind! And yeah, the blonde chick is super hot in person.

One of the locations is shot right up the street from my house. The plane wreckage is stored there......pretty cool

Why dont they just show the freakin' new episode already?? If you didnt clue in last season, tuff tittie. I dont want to get an hour's rehash of the entire first season. I'd go get the dvd's if I had to revisit it all.

Oh well, I can observe and count all the way shallow DOF shots for another half hour.
