Hey guys. Check out this funny 30 sec spot we made for the Current TV VCAM contest.
Mobile Messengers
It was shot with the HVX with a Letus in 720P. The bike shots were shot with the Panasonic HDC-HS9 mounted on a helmet. I have to admit that camera really matches great with the HVX for a crash / b roll camera. We shot it in about 4.5 hours at 4 locations and turned it around in about 10 hrs with no budget. Gotta love p2 workflow!!!
It features Ricky Leopold of Calvary Couriers in NYC. You might remember the Leopold brothers from youtube or Conan's late show. There was a movie in the eighties called Quicksilver starring Kevin Bacon that was all about these guys. Bike Messengers are pretty funny dudes!
