i did a searhc and didnt find much, wut exaclty is this? wut shud mine be for films?

also

if 1/48 gives the most film like picture, in real movies, what shutterspeed are they using? if they use 1/48 why is there NEVER motion blurr? (cuz thats a small shtuerspeed so more light)

thanks

Synchro scan let's you fine tune the shutter speed to match it up with display monitors (ie tvs and computer monitors) so that you can get a shot of it without weird flickering or an annoying rolling scan line.

Film doesn't have a shutter speed, but rather a shutter angle which controls how the motion is rendered.

The 1/48 setting is equivalent to a perfect 180 degree shutter angle which is what 99% of films are shot with. The only time the shutter angle is changed is to acheive a more specialized look for like action sequences or for crisp slow mo.

In general, keep your shutter speed at 1/48 for a film look. You can increase or decrease it for a more stylized look/shot.
