GH2 Syncing Sound with GH2

so I've been trying to sync sound with GH2 and plural eyes...but I can't export my sequence out of premiere pro to a FCP XML.

When I had a Canon T2i, the files were in MOV format. But now that I have a GH2, the files are in MTS format.

I think the fact that it is MTS files, that I can't export it to a FCP XML sequence.

What do you guys think?

You need to either use log and transfer in FCP, or convert your MTS files to something like pro res. But you are correct, that you cannot bring the native MTS files into FCP. But I am guessing you have plural eyes for Premiere and not FCP? Maybe try converting your MTS to pro res, sync in Premiere with the new pro res files, Export XML from Premiere, Import XML in FCP and see if that works. Hope this helps.

I guess I can try that.

How would I go by switching my MTS files into Pro Res Files?

MPEG Streamclip? Red Giant Grinder? Media Composer?

You can use any of these, including FCP and Premiere. Do you have all of these programs? Or are you trying to find a solution with the software you currently own? What software do you have available to you?

Premiere CS5 will let you export a Final Cut XML with MTS files on the timeline. Works great with PluralEyes for Premiere.

I have premiere pro cs5.5 and its been really buggy with exporting the mts files with my tascamaudio file to a FCP XML...like it starts to export but always crashes in the middle...when I had the T2i with its mov files...the export took about 1 second

and to answer the question above. I have all the programs and was just wondering which one would be closest to lossless
