Syncing Hpx300 to external audio source

Hello All,

I am having an issue syncing my hpx300 to a Cantar recorder via lockitbox.

The recorder is set at 29.97. The lockit box is too. The timecode slate is too and matches the recorder.

When I plug the lockit into the 300... No dice.. Out of sync by a few seconds.

I am shooting 720/30PN. External TC. Free Run.

Do I need to plugin to booth genlock and TC IN? Or just one of the tc inputs?

I don't have an answer for you, but if it were me, I would try one of the non-native recording formats like 720/60 or 1080i or 24 fps or 30fps progressive 'over' 720/60 or 1080i. Maybe the Native progressive recording format is messing up the works?
