Synchronizing zoom H4N to HMC150

Hi all,
I am looking for some suggestions on ways to accurately and easily synchronize my Zoom H4N recordings to my HMC. I believe that the HMC150's linear time code output can not be used with the H4N (please correct me if I am wrong). I can use the iPhone slate application, but I am wondering if there are any better approaches. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

The H4n does not utilize time code, so there's no way to jam-sync. You are shooting non-sync. This means that everything will have to be done in post to sync audio to video.

The iPhone slate won't do you any good, either. It cannot, that I know of, accept or generate external TC signals. It creates it's TC display based on time of day. It's a great app as a traditional slate, but it cannot sync devices during production.

To be able to jam your recorder to your camera, you'd need a recorder that can accept, and sync to, external TC. The TASCAM HD-P2 comes to mind.
