Does the GH3 have synchro scan? I read about a secondary feature that eliminates some of those artifacts, but have not heard any news about it. I am considering renting a GH3 for a week just to see how it stacks up in that department. I LOVE my GH2s..
Alternately, I would be considering an AC160 for its versatility, I just love the image I get with the GH2. Synchro scan is the only feature missing from it that actually affects my workflow.
Before you mention shutter speeds, yes, I adjust between 40/50/60 depending on the lights. 1/48 would simplify everything for those of us shooting in 24p. And when you have a room filled with TVs/monitors all at different refresh rates with varying light sources (documentary work) having half the screens rolling just looks bad.
If the GH3 can't handle that aspect then feel free to suggest another cam.
