In Barry Green's HVX video he describes two separate functions for the Synchro Scan on the HVX -- one for the video mode and one for the film mode.
On the HMC there aren't two modes -- and I've found that the synchro scan setting appears to be a custom shutter speed option in certain shooting modes (or maybe all of them -- I didn't look).
My question for the legendary gurus of this forum -- is it actually a custom shutter speed option? And other than for filming a TV screen (that I don't intend to do), how can I use this tool for the best results with the HMC?
All my thanks!
