Sync Hv20 audio with 5d mark 2 Video

Good Day !

I've got a rode ntg-2 with an XLR to 3.5mm jack. it sounds verryy clean on the Hv20 but not the 5d (hissing). Im just wondering will it be possible to sync the audio from the hv20 to the 5d's footage ? since both are recording at 24p . Also will it start to go out of sync after 5 mins or so ?

Frame rate does not apply to audio at all. Audio runs at a sample rate.

Yes, you'll be able to match them up, but you can expect some drift over longer takes.
