nice doug. I like the lighting and grading on the opening shot. I find in other parts of video the "looks" are different, not in bad way just non-matching to overall look. But it really doesn't matter, its still good.

By the way do you mean the most recent shoot with Sony camera, or you mean your "last ever shoot" with Sony camera?

That was my question too. It sounded like your last shoot on a Sony camera ever. Did you do the move? I'm coming to FL in a couple of weeks and was trying to meet up with a couple of people.

Nicely done. There seemed to be background changes for the singer, but it didn't jar it too much for me.

My Spanish is rusty, but doesn't the title mean "If I were a man"? I wish I knew what she was saying as it probably would have put the pictures in context. All I got was she was preparing for a romantic evening together. He snubs her at the door, but they have a romantic evening anyway.
 
I read in another thread that he sold his F3 to recoup as much of his original investment as possible, so pretty sure he meant "the last".

I sold... scratch that. Gave it away. That is why I said my last Sony shoot.
I bought the camera for a feature that paid for the camera, but I couldn't use the camera as leverage to do my commercial work. No one knows about the F3, so I couldn't get more money for shooting with it.
I will rent what ever the customer is willing to pay for. Owning is not worth it for me.
As far as the song, Duke is very close on the translation. The title of the song is as he said "If were a man" It has double meaning to get people intrigued. My version is about a couple having marital problems and the wife is saying the things that if she was a man would do to her to satisfy her. The song is so packed with feeling that is hard for someone not to get involve in it and even a little exited watching the actress act it out.
The video was made for my demo and the singer/song writer Lia.
At the very beginning at the piano Lia is suppose to be composing the song before the performance. When the the music starts was filmed at a city owned theater that they let us use for free. Lia likes a dreamy look I had used in a movie that makes her look thiner and younger. The second part was filmed at a night club that she sings at.
The actors were really hard to find. No pay and such strong theme kept some of my regulars not wanting to do it. I wanted a guy with a six pack but settle for a friend of Lia that had never acted and with a keg instead of a six pack. The actress has acted in 7 movies in south america. I met her at an unrelated event and didn't even know about her acting. All I knew is that she was very good looking and I know people from her home town in Venezuela. Two days later we were shooting in my office set, my front door, my dinning room and kitchen, my bed, my bath tub and shower. ;-)
Lighting was simple, but controlled. At the theater 2 spot lights at 45 degrees from the back and a fill in front. At the night club room lights and a spot light from the front. My home /studio a kicker, key and fill. I try to keep the lamps on in the room to give it a natural look.

I was in Naples last month. Yeah a couple of hour by I75 or the scenic way through SR41 is shorter distance , but through towns.

Great! There is a meet up of video people in Naples on the 23rd, and I'm meeting an author on the 26th. Maybe somewhere in between? I'll text you.
