SXS transfer

Hi guys,
Ive just rented an EX3 today, first time working with SXS...
Im having a few problems with my imac/mac book recognizing the camera properly...
I installed the driver from the sony site but when i try and open the folder the quicktime file wont open...

can anyone tell me where i am going wrong..?

Did you install the XDCAM Transfer software? That's all you need. You can search it if you don't have it handy.
 
when i try it says i need FCP 6.0.3 or later... i assumed i had that as i purchased FCP about 6 weeks ago.. :S

Sorted! thanks for the help, sorry for sounding clueless, its just i'm stuck in a hotel with limited internet and its 1am.. :D
