Switching NTSC to PAL

Does anyone know an easy way to convert a NTSC video to PAL? Or will DVDs that I burn in NTSC work on DVD players in Europe?

Most dvd players here can play NTSC, but most cant play region1.

I had an intressting setup a couple of years ago. 1dvd who could output NTSC signal only, One DVD who could convert NTSC to PAL. One Tv who could convert NTSC signal and one TV that didnt. So as long as the right dvd was to the right tv it worked fine.

But if you have made a 24P NTSC DVD convert it to a 25P PAL DVD just to be sure.
 
Best of the Best if you use a Mac is Jes deinterlacer, you can find it on Macupdate.com!
As we are the opposite "front" we do use it for pal to ntsc and works great, it has also some great utility for gamma, noise, etc...
