switching between HD, and SD footy from VX2100

So, I dont currently own an HVX but hopefully I'll be getting one soon through a job in the BMX industry for filming videos for a select few companies. But since it's impossible to film 100% of every company's riders, I'll obviously be getting footage submitted from other filmers most likely filmed on VX's. So, since I cant film the entire video in 16:9, would it still look amazing in 4:3 even though its natively widescreen? and additionally, how would it look mixing VX, and HVX footage? and what's the best way to execute making this video look good?

You're going to be limited to what you want to shoot.

Basically you'll need to shot everything 30P or 60i to retain framerate cadence. With VX-2000 you can throw out shooting 24P, unless you want to just change framerates while shooting action scenes (60i mixed with 24p looks real amateurish)

It all depends on how you want your style to be.
