What is the wattage output comparable to a tungsten video light?

Swit uses 40W in their literature. It is probably true for the daylight setting, with the warm filter is it less.

wouldn't it be more useful to make these 3000-3200K out of the box rather than persist with daylight LEDs?

I've never needed to use that 5600K filter that came with my tungsten light, in low light when these are mostly used your only wanting to match the ambient tungsten light around you...

I am not sure why they make them day ligth balanced?

Specially since LED do not give you the long distant range like tungsten light does.

LED is good for interview, but for weddings (dancing group shots) it does not give you the range.

Do not pay $150 for the Mic-Light. I bought them on ebay for $3 each. They are actually designed for hanging in tent when camping. Very little to them and cheap build. They work though. Search Camp LED lights on ebay.
