Sweet Dreams Documentary

For the 5 threads above: Thank you very much for the high praise. Presently, the documentary is awaiting to hear back from submissions to film festivals such as Tribecca, Hot Docs, Florida International, Seattle International, Full Frame, Chicago International. As more of the major festivals open up the documentary will be entered. It was just finished a couple of months ago. There are studios interested right now, but it is a fine line of presenting before a (hopefully) buzz and audience involvement. So, hopefully patience will pay off. At that point, when the movie is bought, it will be the job of distribution to pave the way of DVD.

The approach was to take documentary cinema, and give it a more passive, cinematic feel. Almost like a narrative would. However, everything is in the picture is real and pure. I think I was just lucky to have had such a wonderful story drop upon my hands, that grew throughout the years, beyond my wildest dreams. Nevertheless, being that the subjects themselves, Gary (The Boxer) and Derek (The Bookie) were always primary, focus was never lost when the bigger moments arose. To me, there are so many small and simple moments that are the essence of the picture. Hopefully, in the end, people will feel that. The DVX100 was the major reason why we were able to pull that off.

It's been so much hard work, as well as heart and soul, so thanks again for the praise.
