Nice site. The only thing I don't like about it is that your current screen disappears when you chose a drop down menu. It doesn't seem intuitive and felt a little confusing.

Other than that, I think it looks very good. Nice work.

Thanks for the comments Hans. I can see that the photo slide show is causing some confusion. I'll have to see what I can do to fix it. It actually is not loading the photos, they are already loaded. It is basically a slideshow meter, all of the photos are selectable upon the initial load of the page. I just got a good idea though on how to make it a little bit more intuitive. Thanks Hans.

Cool disjecta. That should be an easy fix. I initially set it up that way becuase I didn't want it to be too confusing when the dropdown menu appeared. I'll make the change and let me know how that works. BTW, I am keeping all of the original files so if something comes out completely messed up I can always go back.

Heh, sorry John but I'm laughing because of your screen size since that's what my parent's use.  They are always reality checking me for images and pages that are too large.  I'm one of those people that loves screen real estate (currently dual monitors at 3200x1200).

Hey I really have to thank you guys for all your input.  I thought may page looked pretty good when I first posted it, but with all of your suggestions I think it just got better and better.  I'm still open to more suggestions, especially if there are spelling/grammer/ things that just don't make sense.  Thanks again you guys, I didn't think I would get this kind of response, especially starting this thread at midnight.

BTW, Disjecta, I made the change to the dropdown menus, and then added a little shadow to make things a little less confusing. I think it works a lot better this way as well. I also changed the sliding bar on the left hand side, making it more intuitive (I hope) as well as making the colors go better with the page.

That's it... you got it! I had the same complete D-Man did and you resolved it.

By the way, when I first when to your site earlier today I couldn't understand what all the hooplah was about...nothing anyone said matched what I was seeing. Apparently I had been to your site before and it got locked in my Internet Explorer cache, so I was getting the old site until I finally realized what was happening and hit the refresh button.

Anyway, good job... I like it a lot.
