Swap! HPX500 for HVX200A / HPX170 UK

Yep thats a fairly sensational headline hehe :P

I'm just testing the water with this one - im thinking of upping the ante with a used varicam and am also looking to get a smaller p2 cam for my setup!

So I would in theory swap the hpx500 for a hvx200A, or a HVX200 under certain circumstances (with extras like a working m35 adapter + primes (maybe)

Obviously there will be a significant amount of pennies on top, but i thought maybe as a possible way to upgrade.... so i can upgrade (and so the magic chain goes on.)

HPX500 comes with 2 Bats, V mount, charger. I do have a lens but was wanting to keep it - may part with it (Canon J 6x8)

Oh about 7k for a swap of cam body and batts, and with the lens maybe about 9k for an hvx.

So testing the water! IF any deal goes ahead, pickup, tests etc required!

So you are offering $1500 for a HVX in trade for your camera with batteries?
 
McGee baby it does say the UK on the topic title... so god knows what the point of your B&H comparison is?

I mean if your gonna compare UK with US prices, then heck heres an even better one. Instead of swapping an hpx500 for an hvx200 + pennies, i can just swap it for your condo and General Motors hehe.

Anyway (bah) varicam deal is off, and so the hpx is my A Cam for a little longer yet! :)
