Surround Sound

I recently finished a movie that sounds fine on my computer and television. Then I tried it on a tv with surround sound and it makes a loud crackling noise whenever there is some wind in the movie. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Sounds like yo uneed to monitor the sound during post on higher grade speakers... I am assuming you did stereo mix and the amplifier is playing back as surround? Can you set your amplifier to play as stereo to compare?

Try it on another home theater system to see if you get the same problem.
