FS7: Supporting a 100-400 lens

Quick question re long lens support.

Can anyone recommend a particular lens support for long Canon L lenses with the tripod foot (eg. Canon 100-400 and 70-200/2.8.) on a Commlite/Metabones adapter?

The obvious place to support is on the bottom of the lens foot - but I also need to get it on and off the rails quickly. Rails are on a Chrosziel base.

Any quick-release tricks?

I've been getting more wobble than I care for, especially at 400mm.

Thanks,

Ben.

Just ebay the Tilta FS7 shoulder mount adapter get that with some rods and a lens support, then you can use a quick release plate for the tripod it always balances the FS7 perfectly for handheld

I just have a varavon rail mounted lens support which can be adjusted to support the lens via rails. I don't use long lenses a ton so I haven't bothered to look for anything better. It works but its not perfect.

Olaf (westsideav) has a lens support that will support a tripod mount on a lens or adjust to support a Metabones.
