Hi all, I am hoping to get a couple of Samyang cine lenses shortly and am looking for a support system and follow focus for my AF102. I know zacuto are among the best but possibly beyond my reach atm. Any thoughts on a more budget oriented system? The cine city offers cheap gear but I have read some very poor reviews so may not consider that brand. (I also have the import cost to NZ to consider, which chews into my budget) Cheers! Rod

Hi Rod,
Take a look at our microSupportBaseplate. It works great with the AF100 (as well as many other cameras) and it features a Bogen quick release clamp mechanism as well. You can see it with an AF100 below:

I got a follow focus pretty reasonably on ebay from ps productions. Their website is pspro.us if you want to check them out. There were some cheaper ones, but if you go clear bottom barrel sometimes it's not worth it. This piece of kit has worked fine for a good price.

You might consider purchasing higher end used gear which will be useable with any camera, rather than lower end camera specific new gear.
