Suppling footage to Client for Final Cut

I have a shoot in 2 weeks for a overseas client with the 502, their wanting to record in 1080i and they have told me that the editing will be done in Final Cut. I just need to know does the latest version of Final Cut accept the DVC Pro codec without the need to re-encode it and if it does what's the best way to supply the footage to them.
Because I use a PC would it be best for them to bring their own Mac laptop and transfer the files onto a Mac formatted hard drive? It's a 5 day shoot so there could be a bit of footage.

I've just come from 18 years recording on tape so it's all new to me at the moment.

Copy the P2 cards onto a windows external drive. They can plug that drive in, usb or firewire, and log and transfer the cards no problem from that drive. Macs can't write to the windows drives but they can read from them.

But also yes, FCP has about every flavour of HD you could want including full DVCProHD support.

It takes the mxf's and re-wraps them as quicktimes.

I usually buy the small bus powered external drives that have USB and FW support (400 is fine) and include it in the cost of the job.

Gary anything interesting in the pipeline, perhaps we can do some reciprocate stuff? Unless of course you currently have two HPXs and ops. Such as Ill do a job for you free where you need a second HPX and just return the favour. Im up Runaway Bay, Paradise Point, Hope Island end.

If you need a firestore for above job let me know. I have an NTSC version (assuming Im not using it at that point in time).

I havent been back in Aus long (almost 4 years in Japan)

Heres my card if you ever need something - also I am a MAC FCS user so any questions, hit me up.
