Supersub for the World Cup shot on the HPX301

Gary, is it just the Youtube version, or are a lot of the highlights really hot?
Fair bit of skew on the goalposts at 1:45.
Sorry, not trying to find fault, just very interested in the possible pitfalls of the 301, hope you don't mind!

Hi Steve I didn't edit this so the grading was beyond my control, it was also shot in around four hours on a bright sunny day and I struggled to keep exposure as the sun was in and out all the time and it was virtually run and gun, the rushes all look OK to me on my macs and are within two stops of exposure.

I think it is the You Tube upload as I had no control over this either and it was not done in my usual FCP to apple TV way, cant see the skew on my macbook pro but I have seen some interlacing problems, it was shot AVC intra 50 at 720p for slo mo bits so there shouldn't be any at all so not sure what encoding has been done in the PC world of Edius 5.5.

Personally I thought a lot of it was a bit underexposed in parts but it goes to show how things can look different across netwoks, I used the BBC film settings and zebras at 65%, the director and editor is not technical so it is not fully tech checked. I am doing the broadcast delivery end so that will be fully graded and checked by me but will be in full broadcast HD and SD for delivery.

Definitely, 'cos I thought in general it was pretty over-exposed. Certainly on my computer over the web (never a good judge I know) a lot of the highlights on the hair etc. look like they're well over the top and unrecoverable. Be interested to see graded shots.

If you look around 2:39 this is the sort of burnout I saw, all over the hat and down the arms all looks white to me.
With the skew, again it may just be an internet problem, but what I say was at around 1:45 when there is a shot into the goal and the camera pan with the action the goal does the classic bending thing.
Again, please don't think I'm being critical, just making observations based on a poor quality internet version of the actual work!
