Super Test Film! (aka. the gh1 is back) - AVCHD "C" hack

Sweet! Glad I didn't get rid of my boxes of FD lenses. Anyone know if/when the body only will be in stock at mainstream retailers like BH and Adorama?
 
Body only afaik is euro/japan only. eBay is about the only way to get one in the us unless Simone knows of another outlet?
 
I just got my body only from another dvxuser member- I think the body only is hard to find, you could probably buy the kit and sell the 14-140 for a decent price on ebay though, lots of m4/3 users would love that lens for photos.
 
If any Aussies want a GH1 Body only (local PAL full Warranty) PM me. AFAIK only one Authorized Panasonic retailer in OZ has them ... i just bought one $899 inc GST which i think is good price for a local camera.

hi there, i just want to share some infos on my jobless C setting with different sd cards. i've used the same setting as hunter's, except including a 40000000 video buffer. it seems to me that AVCHD doesnt depend on types of card you use. i tried a 30MB/s Sandisk 16gb extreme, obviously works fine. Then a class 4 panasonic 4gb, works fine. Then a generic micro sd 4gb card with adapter, works fine as well.
