I'm debating renting a red for the 120fps. I want to do a shot that in normal 24fps would take 1-2 seconds but I want to stretch it to 15+ seconds in insanely buttery slow motion. Would the red be capable of this? or is there another camera I could rent to do this with? It's a pretty important scene so I want it to look awesome.

The high-speed camera of choice the last years have been the Phantom - with it you don't have to resort to software to stretch 1 second to 15 but it's also pretty pricey.

AGREED- worked w/ the phantom on a couple of historical docs- interiors are a pain(lighting) unless you like the pulsating look. Natural sunlight is beautiful - honey smooth :thumbsup:
