FS5: Super Slow Motion - Never recorded on SD card? No errors.

Hi Guys

I shot using a hired FS5 for the first time yesterday, fairly simple shoot. But I'm missing a couple of slow-motion shots.

I activated super slow motion after checking the settings in the menu. (it was set to start trigger)
I clicked record, waited for 'buffering' to pass, then waiting for the 'recording' bar to complete.

No error message never clicked cancel. Waited patiently for the loading bar to finish.
After a few seconds, I would move on to shoot the next shot.

There are absolutely zero of the slow-motion shots on the SD card. No sign of them at all, nothing.
Has anyone had a similar experience and could possibly explain what happened? So I can avoid this problem in the future.

Thanks!

No direct experience with the FS5, but did you format or record over on that card yet? Sometimes the actual footage is off in some weird folder on Sony cameras, I had a bit of a panic back when I was shooting on the FS700. Might want to check how much space is used on the card. Just a thought. Hope it works out!

Did you have two cards in? Perhaps you were in dual recording mode? Iin that mode it records everything but S&q and SSM to two cards, and you end up with one card with everything and the second card with only the regular speed footage you shot.

Where are you looking, on-board the camera or in post? If you're looking on-board the camera you need to make sure you looking at thumbnails for the right recording format. For example, if the thumbnail mode is set for XAVC UHD you will not see any XAVC HD clips that might also be on the card.
