Hello all, I am new to this forum and the hvx200.
I read the manual and I recently bought a p2 card (64 GB). I feel really lost at sea about all the different things you can do with the hvx. I used to have a canon hv20 which I was really comfortable with (though I never used it in HD b/c of the tapes and how expensive they are) but I more or less understood that camera.
Now I have this hvx200 which I bought for film purposes (ie shooting short movies etc) and I was wondering if there was a site or place I could learn about what Gain does, how to really understand when and how to use the different frame rates etc.
I have done simple google searches, but nothing really explains to me what they do and when to use them. I saw a video on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_H37sg5BMc
this was helpful but left me with more questions than anything. Are there any other videos like this or sites that are dummy proof to learn about this sort of stuff?
Thank you in advance, your fellow filmmaker,
Nader
