What a great game! The commercials were pretty good as well, what movie trailer do you think has the most promise? Captain America and Limitless look pretty cool.

I think they all had a very similar feel. When you have 30 seconds a quick start and build to multiple montages just makes more sense...with the obvious pause for whatever comedic line you wanna throw in there. I think they all pulled their weight. I'll be honest, LIMITLESS has me much more interested based on the idea. The others are just the typical flare, explosions, and fast cut action. I do think some of the shots in the Transformers 3 trailer were pretty sweet (the guys diving out of the plane).

is Battle: Los Angeles really necessary?

I think of it as the better-made version of Skyline. As a side-note, they've got a funny little FPS arcade-type game on their website (link: http://www.battlela.com/game/). It's very basic, but was mildly amusing for about a minute and a half. <grin>

Honestly, the Transformers 3 ad was kinda stupid. There was nothing there. I think the movie will be fun enough, but I didn't think the ad was very good.

I'm most pumped about POTC4, but that's personal preference. I think the Super 8 ad was pretty well-done, and it was certainly the most talked-about.

Super 8 was the only decent trailer, IMHO. And the only trailer that made me actually interested in seeing the movie.

Transformers 3 looked sick. I don't care what anyone has to say about that. I might be biased ;) But it looks awesome. Optimus Prime pimp slapping Decepticons down on Wabash and Wacker? Yes please.
