Sunset Settings ?

No time to search ! (at a resort, internet is like gold here)

I did a time lapse in Hawaii recently and one thing i found was what does one do with the iris and ND ? Auto or Manual. (i have not actually sped it up in post yet)

In Hawaii i did a sunrise with a slow frame rate and then speed up in post. (not actually done yet) I was using manual iris.

Also i had no ND and at the begining, and at the end i was at 1/64.

So long story short, what ND setting for the sunset as well as iris. (Auto Iris and only one ND setting, or adjust on the fly ?)

Does it make a difference once speed is increased in post ?

Can someone recommend a frame rate for fast mostion sunset (looks good)?
 
fraqmte rate cud be 24p, or 24pa, or even 60i, u are fast forwarding it, so it should look fine. 60i for less blur, but have a high shutter speed. You are outside, so maybe 1/250, or 1/500 (if u can get away with that)

can u set ur nd on manual?
