Sun always not red and not round enough how

What to add filter

I mean near seaside morning sun rise

first moment

Really fail this test

Get as long a telephoto lens as you can, get at least the Schneider 1.6x if not a 2x. Then set your white balance to manual, and white balance at noon on a white card. Then, set your scene file "color temp" setting to -7. You want a red sun, you'll get that red sun if you follow these steps.

Don't know what you mean about the sun not being round enough.

Assuming you're not trying for the "green flash". If you're talking about the very first appearance of the disk, it's not round. Something about spectral aberration or some such - I'm sure there's some science type that can explain it much better - but basically the atmosphere will stretch and pancake the image.

Photoshop can fix anything (except sound).
