Suitable monitor for video village

Okay, I did a little more research on the Dell U2410 and discovered there's a new hardware version. The dithering issue was with A00, they fixed the dithering with A01, and new ones from Dell are hardware A03. Supposedly with no dithering issues. However, there's a pink-green gradient tint on the display apparently because of the panel type and other monitors using the same IPS panel (made my LG) have this gradient tint. Does anyone have this monitor or have experience with it, and most importantly has anyone used it with the AF100?

I have the u2410. I use it as editing monitor out of mxo2 and occasional client monitor. It doesn't have rec709 as someone said- is has srgb, from what I hear is pretty close. But still, the monitor is not terribly accurate. It's okay. My white shows as slightly green and I have trouble dialing it out. It does do pixel for pixel it you want it to though. Not a bad monitor for the price. People using it for video seem to have mixed reviews on it.

Yeah, I'm really concerned about that monitor. If it was less money or I could buy it in a store and be able to return it with no restock fee I'd probably gamble on it and see if I can get that tint to go away with calibration (should be able to). The one to get really seems to be the Samsung, but they can't be mounted (no VESA mounting holes/threads). So I'm back to square one looking at 22" LCD TVs. Samsung had a 1080p and Sharp has one that can't be found anywhere. Otherwise I'm stuck at 720p unless I go up to 32", which I think is too big, or spend a lot more money on something broadcast level. There just doesn't seem to be any right solutions out there.
