Suggestions for Studio Interview Stool Table Set

I have a small home studio and wanting to purchase a small table/stool set for a two people interview/talk show type of program that can be used with green screen. Want to see if any of you have good suggestions. I am pasting couple links, not sure if this is going to be too shinny/slippery and difficult to sit still for 30 minutes. I am looking for a similar size or close to it, any suggestions?

I also like those stools as they swivel, but missing table

I simply use directors chairs. The last thing I want is someone swiveling in a chair making a squeaking sound and turning out of camera position.

I guess you are right David swivel could create a problem. My only issue with a director's chair for an interview is height adjustment. I want to be able to use them with different talent and adjust for height, is that much of an issue for you?

We use swivel chairs in the studio because we have to move guests in and out of a chair with ease while in close proximity to the on-air host during television broadcast. The chairs don't squeek. But we are concerned someone will want to unconsciously swivel back and forth during the interiew. It hasn't happened, but we've discussed swivel vs non-swivel an several occasions. Swivel always wins for the convenience factor.

Chrome and high gloss will kick your ass into next week when keying.

Think about it - chrome tubing will reflect about 270 degrees. It will be full of streaks of bright green which you will have to roto out. You'll be looking for that Dr. Kervorkian gift card before long.

That's why we try not to shoot drummers in front of green screens...

Yes, the chrome is a problem for the green screen. But if you weren't doing green screen, I think the chrome would be ok. That big blob of chrome on the base could give you some trouble from lights behind the talent, but it could be doable.

It's a matter of choice on your selection of chairs. I'd be tempted to use the Amerihome chairs you have in the first link of the first post. This would make the talent feel more secure. The low backs of the other chairs will likely make the talent want to sit up and/or lean forward, which may or may not be the behavior you want. Being bar stools, I think they all will force the talent to sit up, which is usually a good thing.

Great input guys, I am shopping online and want to make a proper choice right from the start. I ran into this set which is all black instead of chrome, the table is fixed at about 40" but the stools are adjustable. I plan to do some photography too and think the low back stools can come in handy. However my main use will be chroma key green screen. Looks I am going to give this one a try (link below), but please voice your objections or opinions as I am here to listen to those with more experience.

Those look cool, but I think you also need a sturdier chair available with at least a low back for large people. A 280lb guy isn't going to like "balancing" on that (essentially) stool - he's gonna lean on the table. Your #1 need for good interviews is comfort - physical & emotional comfort. Bigger people want support and probably prefer to have their feet on the floor vs. a little foot ring. Just a thought...

Makes sense Michael, however, I have not been able to find a set that is chromakey friendly, the chrome is going to be challenging with my small studio, there is some really nice stools out there for a reasonable price but they all have chrome, if you know of any set that has black or dark polish please let me know. Stools and table don't have to come as a set as long as I can match them.
