Picking up my T2i this week and would like some suggestions on what you guys are carrying yours around in... I will have the camera and two lenses (Tamron 17-50 and tokina 11-16). would like all that and some odds and inns to fit in the case/bag without issues... let me know if anything particular is good or just the obvious bags on bestbuy.com and what not... in other words, is there a bag specifically made for the t2i i guess...

I've been looking at Nat Geo's backpacks recently, never really thought very highly of shoulder bags except how cool they look. They were certainly functional during the film camera days, that's changed with digital bulk and many a sore shoulder.

I don't recommend advertising what you're carrying. With this, you can protect your stuff and place it in any bag you want.

Thanks for posting this Jordan. I've been looking for something like this for a while now. I mean, I like the functionality and comfort of a "camera" backpack, but definitely don't want the unnecessary attention they attract (especially when shooting in not-so-nice neighborhoods). And I hate those little camera bags - barely enough room for the body + 2 lenses... forget about add'l lenses, z-finder, flash, batts, cables, etc. Right now, I'm using one of these little bags stuffed into my backpack, so the insert pack you mentioned seems like a very suitable replacement.

Agreed. don't broadcast your valuable camera gear with nice new cam bags, I never thought of it before, but I should probably get rid of the Lowepro label on the front of the waist pack although I haven't lost it in 15 years.
I have a variety of bags depending on what I need on a given day. Every shoot I need different gear.
One is a Lowepro-Orion waste bag good for the camera and a few lenses, light meter and finder. It's good because for a light kit where you still have to change a few lenses and filters it gives you a safe place to put things and easy to grab on your waist while your running around. Stuff is easy to find and never falls out. The Orion also travels well over the shoulder when not on your waist and padded on all sides and between each piece of camera gear inside with movable dividers.
I've had 2 Eagle Creak padded laptop bags with thick padded straps when I need a matte box, rails, etc. Also seen a lot of years with many to go. It's also expandable with a zip open front storage area when you need to carry more crap. (then of course when things get nasty 2 big pelican cases that stay in the storage room lately)
But my new favorite bag on the top I picked up what I got the 550D for $15 bucks. A baby Lowepro that's exactly the size of the camera. I managed to fit a few extra batteries on each side of the lens and a few memory cards. I haven't left the house without it since I got the camera and don't think I ever will until I get another camera to replace it. A true pocket camera for me.
