Suggest a list of essential accessories

Picking up my first DVX100 (a) this week -- my first pro camera. I know that many accessories are project dependent, but what would be a list of essential, "must have" accessories that almost any project might require?

On my list so far is a quality tripod and fluid head, extra batteries and a wide angle adapter (I like to capture lots of panaramic views when I travel so it is essential to me). What else should I be shopping for?

As a hobby (so far) I've done some corporate product videos for a couple of companies and one wedding. I've got another wedding (I know, bad word here) in 3 weeks and I've been asked to document the 25th anniversary Necronomicon SF convention here in Tampa by one of the organizers. That should be interesting! And there is a local landscape company that does seminars; they want to offer them as a DVD set.

Obviously I'm going to need mics it seems. And I guess I need to learn about lighting, at least to capture the costume ball at the SF convention. Or is it going to be well lit? I must find out!

Audio is key. Good shots+bad audio=bad movie
I agree. I'm going to be picking up a Sennheiser ME66/K6 but haven't yet begun to research mounts. I know, "Search" is my friend -- all it takes is time. I gather that no one around here uses the mic mount that comes with the camera. At this point I can't even take an educated guess as to why, but I suppose I'll find out eventually.

Oh, I'm also considering The DVX Book an essential accessory. It is on order.

Actually I've changed my mind on mics after reading the stickies in the audio section and considering what I'm going to be doing plus my budget. Instead of the Sennheiser ME66/K6, for now I'll buy a Rode NTG 1 with a Rycote Softie and also an Oktava MK012 w/ hypercardiod cap and the high wind screen.

I'm still not sure about shockmounts though.

This will be good enough for now until people start actually paying me to do this stuff!
