I was filming with my dvx100b a couple of days ago when my camera suddenly made a popping noise. The lcd screen and viewfinder started to glitch so I shut the camera off, removed the battery, and removed the tape. After this incident, I let the camera sit for we while. When I hooked everything back up, the LCD screen and the view finder began working normally, but the camera would not record any footage. I tried several times with no luck. I also could hear a loose piece moving around inside the camera. It seems to me like there might be a mechanical issue at fault, but I'm not sure what the actual problem could be. The camera had not been dropped, and I make a point to clean the heads. If anyone has any ideas on the problem or even recommendations for repairs, I'd really appreciate the help.
